not stuck here on to MOOCs and GEC

Let me share another one of my fears. On the one hand, I accept that it is essential to dedicate the coming months to leading others in these matters of prayer. That will greatly help those who participate as well as those we bless in the future. But on the other hand, I do not want to get stuck here. While prayer is core to personal and corporate spiritual life it is not the whole story. There are other facets of biblical Christianity that I seek to offer online as an educator.

When I took an online course with missionaries about harnessing digital media for discipleship God gave me a vision and game plan for offering courses in such subjects as Bible studies, community service, apologetics, character development, and apologetics. These accessible and affordable lessons will be aimed at youth, college students and those church members who are ready.  The sketch of those courses is on this blog post.

The studies show that those in the millennial generation are attending church less often than previous generations. Plus church attendance is decreasing for those of older generations. Yet every year people spend more time on their smartphones, tablets, and computers.
